Pediatric & Adult Psychiatry

Committed to thoughtful, tailored, collaborative care
As a dual-board certified physician in both adult and child psychiatry, I have extensive training in assessing and treating the whole person when it comes to mental health, including assessing physical health (physical exam, bloodwork, nutrition, sleep, physical activity, etc.) as well as assessing for mental health conditions. With experience helping to build a collaborative care model for mental health within a pediatrics office, I’m a provider that highly prioritizes working as a member of a team (which you’re an integral member of) to strive to help you find your way to the mental health you’re looking for, in a way that aligns with your goals and strengths. I believe that patients have a lot more power than they sometimes give themselves credit for in finding their way back to a healthy mindset, and my goal is to help my patients feel more empowered to design and embark on their own path forward.
Mental health conditions I treat in my clinic include anxiety (in all its forms), OCD, depression, ADHD, neurodevelopmental disorders, eating disorders, and trauma disorders.
As a trained therapist as well as a medication prescriber, I have training in a multitude of different therapy modalities that can help me offer expertise on which ones might be a good fit for you to pursue, if interested. While I can prescribe medications, they are rarely the only type of treatment I would recommend, and are sometimes not needed.
